WHAT SHOULD I DO?

As a café host, you stand in our very easy and intuitive café, and receive admission and sell drinks and snacks. You help to welcome our playful guests.

The café is very easy and you will of course be well put into things.

Many volunteer parents of young children take the children and stand in the café with another volunteer so they can go to / from. You can also bring a grandparent / friend and stand with., Or you can stand alone if you wish. The most important thing about the café guard is to warmly welcome our guests in the house :)

As a café host, you are actually helping to keep the Yard open to children, young people and families, as we can not be very open without volunteers!

WHAT IS IN IT FOR ME?

You will be part of a wonderful community with other volunteers who are passionate about keeping the yard as open as possible and creating a meeting place for children, young people and families.

You can take your children on duty for free, and drink free coffee / tea

You get the opportunity to borrow our birthday room for free once a year (at a minimum of 1 monthly shift)

You are invited to a volunteer party twice a year with free food and many activities for children.

HOW LONG SHOULD I SPEND?

The café guards are in an app called Relion.  In the app, you simply tap on the times that fit into your calendar. The shifts are of 3-4 hours duration.

We demand that you as a volunteer take mine. 1 time per. month for continuity.

HOW DO I BECOME A VOLUNTEER?

You can fill out the template below. Then Sara contacts you and we make an appointment to meet for a cup of coffee where we can talk about what it might look like for you and what wishes you have :)
